Settings to use the repeater VA3ODG
A great guide for programming a D-STAR radio for repeater use can be found here. Rather than repeat the details please check that guide. Of course you need to change the repeater callsign to VA3ODG.
Key programming points
For local repeater access set the repeater settings to
RPT1 VA3ODG C
RPT2
(In this case the 2m side is being accessed, but the 'C' could be 'B' or 'A' if the other ports were to be used.)
For accessing the gateway set your repeater settings to
RPT1 VA3ODG C
RPT2 VA3ODG G

3 Minute Timer
Please be aware there is a 3 minute timer and so between transmision leave a 3s pause to allow the timer to reset.
